Alana is a jewelry designer from Los Angeles, California. She hand-makes all of her work, taking inspiration from nature, as well as Greek and Egyptian designs and color combinations. She studied ceramic sculpture and jewelry metal arts at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, Ca. When conceptualizing designs, Alana imagines faraway places and untouched lands, which is why many of her designs focus on raw, rough, and natural elements. Her statement pieces are delicate in design, yet bold in choices of materials. Her precious metals, all post-consumer, complement enigmatic minerals and found objects including snake bones. We view her as a rising star in the jewelry design industry; enterprising and energetic, she is most definitely one to watch.
