History

“Talisman Fine, Estate & Custom Jewelry”, was incorporated on February 14, 2008 as a retail jewelry store and private jeweler in Northern California.

We rebranded and changed our focus in 2012, after much planning and preparation, evolving us into The Talisman Collection.  We sell cool jewelry and accessories by a select group of designers who embody artistry, unparalleled skill and unique esthetics that we admire.

Our designers have their own showrooms, worldwide.  They are the lifeblood toward the success of our company.

We made the decision to shift our focus away from the custom and mass production jewelry markets in  December of 2011, and to instead work closely with designers whom we consider to be the 'rock stars' of jewelry artistry, and who share our passion.  They're people we respect, enjoy and appreciate.  We are grateful to work in an environment with such admirable and fun people.

The Talisman Collection staff includes a GIA Graduate Gemologist, a photographer, a jeweler,  a website designer, an appraiser, a media buyer, a world-class publicist, a novelist,  a journalist, and an organizational communication and change management expert who also has experience, training and certification as an auctioneer.   

People buy jewelry to make themselves or someone else happy. Our mission is to sustain, share and perpetuate your happiness.  We want you to have fun.

Our vision is to make the purchase of jewelry or select accessories from us an educational and interesting experience for our clientele as well as ourselves. We strive to maintain existing and develop new relationships with our customers.  Every single piece in our Collection is  chosen by our Curator/Gemologist with purpose and intent, representational of the respective designer.

We give back as much as possible to causes that support musicians and music instruction in public schools, in addition to a few other organizations that are near and dear to our hearts. The more we sell, the more we are able to help these organizations.

We fall in love with every piece of jewelry we sell. We won’t sell a piece unless it is something that we would wear ourselves. Many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind.
