Katie Diamond

Katie's journey in the jewelry business began while studying goldsmithing under Cecilia Bauer. Motivated by her new found knowledge, Katie began experimenting with her own designs under the supervision of her mentor, Shimon Hirsch.  Inspired by travel, architecture and textiles, Katie's jewelry is reminiscent of Morocco. The pieces are cast in 14 karat yellow, rose and white gold and accented with unique types of diamonds such as flat Indian river, rose cuts and colored stones. The juxtaposition of old and new styles with eastern and western influences is her distinctive signature..  Most of the stones used in her collection are hand chosen by her husband on his frequent travels to India and Hong Kong.   Handmade in her workshop just outside of New York City, every piece is a reflection of her personal style, a blend of both the bohemian and the luxe.  We love Katie.  She makes us laugh.  She sees the sunny side of situations and goes the extra mile to make her pieces perfect.  Taking great joy in making wearers happy with her jewelry, she is a sunny and positive force in the Talisman Collection who believed in us from our start and has been supportive and kind to us since our inception.
